Biography

J. Rianto is a founding partner of FJ & Partners and one of the most experienced and highly regarded figures in the field of intellectual property protection in Indonesia. She has more than two decades of experience advising and representing clients, ranging from local entrepreneurs to prominent multinationals companies, on intellectual property prosecutions, protection and enforcement in Indonesia, transfer of intellectual property rights as well as managing the intellectual property portfolios of her corporate clients. She specializes in all aspects of intellectual property law, with emphasis on trademark, patent and industrial design, intellectual property prosecutions and management.

Prior to establishing FJ & Partners, J. Rianto had served as the Head of Foreign Affairs IP Department and later on as the Managing Partner of ‘Pacific Patent’, one of the most reputable IP firm in Indonesia, for more than 15 years and in 2010, she founded her own firm, ‘JBW Prima Law Office”.

J. Rianto is a registered Intellectual Property Consultant and a member of the Indonesian Intellectual Property Consultant Association (AKHKI). She is also a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Asian Patent Attorney Association (APAA).
